MULLAGHDOOPOLL 1 ELITE TAKES BALLYMENA TITLE
Ciaran Kerr’s Mullaghdoopoll 1 Elite took the top spot at Ballymena Agricultural Show on Saturday. This three year old bull is no newcomer to the ring after taking numerous silverware and titles home last year.
Reserve Champion went to a home bred Heifer of Greer Watson from Saintfield. Barnburn 1 Marigold showed bags of style on the day and is set to make a name for herself the rest of the season.
Other wins on the day was Stephen Cherry’s Hawkesbury 1 Veronica in the strong yearling class, with an entry of 7 it was the largest of the day.
Trevor Andrews won the intermediate Bull class with Mountview Enzo, a smart Bull that is building on his previous outings including RUAS Balmoral.
Ciaran Kerr added to his red rosette collection winning the Bull or Heifer calf class with Kinego 1 Pharoah, a young bull showing lots of potential.
Also a big well done to Marcus Murdock who won the Beef Young Handlers Section.
